Uplifting x Citric
The coffee bushes in Nyeri, in the center of Kenya, take root in a red-chocolate, volcanic soil. As for its heritage, the region takes its name from a Masai word meaning "red". This rich terroir, combined with a well-managed irrigation, allows the Gichathaini cooperative to produce an exceptional coffee. We chose it for its delicately balanced acidity and fruity aromas.
For the espresso version, a finer grind will allow the water to slow down, allowing time for this coffee to express all its character, with its invigorating black tea and citrus flavours.
